Mail out ballots for fire department vote are on hold

Happy Sunday Chickaloon! What a beautiful weekend we are having and I hope you are all soaking up this Spring sun!

First off, thank you to everyone who joined us last Wednesday for that special meeting regarding the fire department. It went very well and we love seeing people rally together. A few very important points were brought up that are making us take pause on a couple important aspects. Once the research is complete and those points ironed out, we will be updating the community at the next council meeting on the 13th of May. After which we should be ready to do the mail out ballots. It is every important to the board and the committee that everything is done properly so the fire department has a real future and hopefully lasts.
