The drill lake gas well capping project will begin soon, starting with small trucks that will not require traffic to be stopped. No work on the road will begin until after DNR works through the appeal. Expect increased road traffic from E Chickaloon Rd to Drill Lake. There is a sign up sheet for Chimex fire sticks at the post office, all community members get one! ASRC has also decided to match and donate fire blankets to everyone in the community. So make sure you stop and get one of those too.

There does seem to be an active grizzly on E Chickaloon Rd that did get into some chickens.

The General Store is now open for business! Be sure to stop by and show your support. They are open Monday to Saturday from 9am till 8pm. Let’s welcome them into the community!
